PART OF BRICS, ANISA REDDY MET EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTER OF INDIA

 

NEW DELHI, INDIA – External Affairs Minister of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar, held a 45-minute meeting in New Delhi with 27 journalists of Indian origin who were participating in the special 79th Know India Programme (KIP). 

The journalists were from 11 countries, including Indonesia (represented by Television of the Republic of Indonesia — TVRI), Singapore, Mauritius, Kenya, New Zealand. 

During the meeting in New Delhi, Dr. Jaishankar discussed the importance of Indian diaspora across the globe. He addressed the function of Know India Programme (KIP) as a gate to connect young diaspora members with their Indian roots. 

This special batch for journalists designed as a direct way for the Ministry to engage with influential voices in the global media.
