Emperor Naruhito of Japan Celebrates His 64th Birthday Worldwide, TVRI Reports

MEDAN, INDONESIA - Great celebration was held worldwide to mark Emperor Naruhito of Japan 64th birthday on February 23, 2024. Diplomatic channels abroad, include Japan in Indonesia was amongst one of them. Concluded by Consulate General of Japan in Medan, North Sumatra, this birthday celebration presented Japanese culture and heritage shows, foods, and people.
"Indonesia was important country to Japan. Japan will always have a good relationship with Indonesia", said Takonai Susumu, Consul General of Japan in Medan.
In North Sumatra, apart from economic development between both countries, there were some cities have been connected and coordinated with Japan, such as:1. Pekanbaru with Kawasaki in renewed energy2. Jambi with Osaka in clean water support3. Medan with Yokohama in clean water support and nursing
Hopefully, the ongoing agreements going well and establish a well-fulfilled relationship between countries in the future, such as maritime cooperation, cultural engagements and education exchanges, strengthening people-to-people connection that was fragile during colonialism era.
