US Public Diplomacy Officer interacted with community members in Medan, North Sumatra

I had the distinct honor of participating in an executive roundtable convened by the U.S. Consulate General in Medan, featuring Public Diplomacy Officer Joshua Gonzalez with local cultural and literacy activists. 

Joshua Gonzalez is an American diplomat who works as the Public Diplomacy Officer and Head of Public Relations, Culture, and Education at the U.S. Consulate in Medan, North Sumatra. He assumed his role in 2024.

The meeting focused on improving literacy, cultural conservation, and women's empowerment in North Sumatra.
